2011 HCL Match Report - Curdridge

Match Report:
Hursley lost by 66 runs

Mike Meech led the side in the absence of the regular skipper, but his opposite number won the toss and elected to bat. Craig Proctor had already scored a double-century in this competition this year, and he looked on for another!. Second change Scott Weaver took the first wicket in the thirteenth over (88-1), but Proctor hit 97 before his dismissal (152-3). Mark Emm (51) was the other main contributor to a 42-over total of 254-8 (Sean Adams 3-55). IBM never really threatened in the chase, and it took a seventh-wicket unbroken stand of 70 between Scott Weaver (33) and Sean Adams (32) to give the IBM total of 188-6 (Ally Kenworthy 3-33) a semblance of respectability.
